Since 1993, Taste of Joy has been filling hungry stomachs with delight, forming a loyal and satisfied base of customers through the years.

From just a mere past-time and a hobby for a simple couple, it has grown to be a labor of love. The wife's goal then was to be able to learn how to cook well for her family: whether it was for daily meals, children's birthdays and special family occasions. As her kitchen skills improved and her confidence soared, the couple saw an opportunity. Why not share their love of food beyond the family confines? Why not share their source of joy with everyone?

In March 1993, the first branch of the couple's small yet homey restaurant opened in Bayanan, Muntinlupa, aptly naming it Taste of Joy.




It was just a matter of time before the power of word of mouth worked its wonder.

Residents in the community have grown to love Taste of Joy's staples such as its pork barbecue on stick, and its different varieties of pancit, lomi, chopsuey and lumpiang shanghai.

As the clientele grew, Taste of Joy responded by expanding its recipe, creating new favorites such Siopao, Spaghetti, Chap chae, Puto and Pichi-pichi and by offering to deliver the food right at the customer's doorstep.

With its affordable and reasonably-priced offerings, Taste of Joy has nurtured a loyal base of repeat and new customers in more and more areas in southern Metro Manila.

And each and every time, there is no denying the satisfied look on their faces.
